Bonjour,

No school for AM kindergarten tomorrow. See you Monday!

Monday will be our library day so please return all books to school on Monday morning.

Also, I changed the homework as there was an error. We are asking that students bring a picture of their favourite food with their homework on the 17th. It previously said "profession", that will be next month.

A volunteer space has been added to our signup sheet for next Friday, March 13th from 9:50 - 11:10am. If you sign up and it would be easier to stay until noon to leave with your child, please let me know.

During our morning routine, I put out some new options for the students, including geoboards and two new vocabulary games. It was great to see them using what we've learned in their play.



 In gym class, we continued with Sound Kreations.








Today, the grocery store centre was finally open! When something is so new and exciting, the students can sometimes have trouble taking turns. We talked about turn taking and clean up expectation this morning and we had a pretty successful centre time.

Bonjour! I have now posted the November calendar on the blog. I have also created a new page to provide you with the questions for the monthly homework. The questions can be copied and pasted into a word document for printing or written out on another paper. The homework is due on November 25th; please keep the sheet at home and practice with your child until the due date.  If you have any questions, please let me know. Bonjour, Our class is still looking for a volunteer for Friday morning. If you can come, please sign up, it would be greatly appreciated. During our French circle time this morning, we practiced saying how old we are in French, which is a part of this month's homework. Today, we also expanded on our health conversation from yesterday by writing about good health in our journals and drawing at least three different healthy habits. Afterwards, the students had music with Mme Edgett and centre time. During centre time, we did some painting! At the end of the day, I introduced the final three letter sounds, "X", "Y", and "Z". The students were so excited that we've reached the of the alphabet. We will continue practicing letter sound and identifying them in our classroom songs and vocabulary.
