Today, we did the number 10 (dix)  in math. We worked on our lapboards first and then copied the work into our workbooks.

We also started using hockey pucks in gym. M. Trevor set up small hurdle to serve as nets and obstacles all over the gym and the boys and girls took turns playing offensive and defensive roles.

We ended the day with reading buddies. I asked the grades 2 students to do some pre-reading work with the kindergarten students by asking them to look at the pictures and make predictions. They also did some post-reading work by counting things in the pictures, identifying colours in French, and naming some of the letters and letter sounds that they hear/see in the book.
