Bonjour,

There is no school for AM kindergarten students tomorrow.

Just a reminder to check your account on Powerschool for any outstanding schools fees. Without these fees being paid, we may need to reconsider future activities. Please contact the office if you have any questions the school fees. Thank you in advance for helping make these activities possible!

The February homework presentations are on Monday. Please practice this weekend and send the homework to school on Monday. We have been talking about using our "teacher voices" during presentations and making sure that we speak clearly and loudly.

Today, students wrote "voici ma maison" in their journals today and practiced using shapes to draw houses.




In gym class, we continued our floor hockey unit. Students practiced maneuvering a ball around cones with their hockey sticks.

At the end of the day, we counted how many days until our Telus Spark trip and practiced for the homework presentations.

Bonjour! I apologize, I had computer trouble yesterday and my blog post wouldn't publish! In gym class this month, we will be doing a gymnastics unit. Today, the students learned how to dress appropriately so that they can participate safely. You should have received an email from M Trevor about this. Below are the suggestions that were discussed the students today: - tie up long hair - avoid wearing hoodies, dresses, or skirts - wear pants that allow for a wide range of movement such as leggings, sweat pants, or track pants Thank you for your help and cooperation with this! April 3rd - Update

April 3, 2020 Hello Parents and Students,   With the current Pandemic and the cancellation of classes, an average of five hours per week of at home learning opportunities, as directed by Alberta Education ( https://www.alberta.ca/student-learning-during-covid-19.aspx ) will now be accessible using Google Classroom. Thursday, October 17th

Bonjour! Clean up went much smoother today! Thank you to those of you who talked about cleaning up with their child. Your support at home helps things go smoothly at school. Today, we was Jour Violet. The students learned how to write the word "VIOLET" as a group and then worked independently in their journals. We had a visit from a woman from Lynne who works for Alberta Health Services. Mme Lynne talk the students about the major muscle groups of the body and did some movement exercises with them. The students played a movement game during which they pretended to be an egg, toast, bacon, and a table. They also practiced balancing on foot, running on the spot, and deep breathing.
