Today, everyone was a little tired and chatty, probably due to the time change. We still had a good day though. We started the day learning about circles and ovals. We talked about how they differ from the other shapes we've learned about and then did some tracing and writing work in our math books.
Afterwards, we sang our three new songs that we're practicing this month and went to library. I gave the students some extra time to explore and play quietly in the zen room before coming back for centres.
After centres, we reviewed our letter sounds and introduced the sound for "V" and "W".
