Bonjour!
There is no school for AM kindergarten students tomorrow, I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Permission slips for our February field trip to Telus Spark went home today. If you have signed up to volunteer for the trip, a volunteer consent form went home for you as well. Please read the accompanying information letter carefully and send the forms back to school as soon as possible.
Today was a busy day in room 9! We had our homework presentations, music, library, centre time, and a story! The homework presentations went well, thank to everyone who took the time to practice with their child. Next month's homework and calendar will be put on the blog next week.
Today, our class story was Hands Off Harry, a story about respecting the personal space of others and thinking about the consequences of your actions. We stopped a few times to discuss what was happening in the story and how the different characters felt in the various situations. This is an important lesson in Kindergarten. The students are learning that even friends need to respect one another's personal space.
