Please return any outstanding library books back tomorrow as we have our library day on Thursday.
Today, we had a great day! The students were so excited to find all 6 gingerbread men around the classroom. I have now moved them so that they have a new challenge tomorrow morning.
We finished our recent art project this morning and the hats and mittens are now hanging in the class. Afterwards, we did some letter and number review on the SMARTboard and played a musical-chairs type game to practice the emotions vocabulary that we have been working on. When the music stopped, I would say an emotion in French and the students would have to stop moving and make a face that matches the emotion.
After centres, we talked about what the students remembered from the story we read yesterday and then I read a French book about the gingerbread man. After I had finished reading, I ask the class what were some differences and some similarities between the two stories.
