For the month of December, we will be following a gingerbread theme. We will be reading stories, creating artwork, and baking gingerbread. To get started in a fun way this week, I have hidden some plasticine gingerbread men around the classroom. Encourage your child to look for them tomorrow morning!
Today, we did the letters S and Z. We are now done reviewing all of the letters so we will begin journalling this week! Today, we also had gym class, during which, the students played a fun game similar to hot potato. For centre time, I switched the marbles out for a new log cabin centre and the class had a great time with that. After centres, we read a story about a gingerbread man and sang our song, "C'est l'hiver".
